Men’s Ministry Purpose / Vision

Christ The Rock Community Church / De Pere, WI

Identify:  God’s calling and specific spiritual gifting in the men at CTRCC

Invite:  Shoulder Tap!…Most men will remain isolated if not personally invited

Instruct:  Engage in “One on One Discipleship”

Goal:  That Christ be formed in all the men at CTRCC on a personal level

(Galatians 4:9; Romans 8:29; 13:14; Philippians 2:5; Colossians 3:10)

Method:  Learn and Live Out The Word of God (Ephesians 5:26; Hebrews 4:12;

James 1:18; 1^st Peter 1:22-23)

Structure:  Confirm the Commitment of a Core leadership group (8-10 men) pouring into the larger group, as well as one-on-one discipleship/relationship building  (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10)

Command:  Act like men, understanding and applying Biblical Manhood

(1^st Corinthians 16:13-14)

Vision:  Fully Advance and Encourage the Biblical Model for Manhood

Why?  What?

Why am I here on this Earth? ——- God brought me forth!

What is my calling? ——- To reflect Christ to the world around me

                                               (at home, church, work, life, etc.)

What direction should I take? ——- ADVANCE!!!  (1^st Samuel 17:48)

Core Values In There Proper Order:  

Christlikeness  (every man must pursue personally)

The Word of God  (how all men are transformed/changed positively)

Family  (every man’s primary ministry)

Church  (the spiritual base camp for Men In Christ The Rock)

Country  (God’s place and time for every man in history)

Work  (every man’s personal mission field)
